Job Summary:
The Patient Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their care journey. This position involves greeting patients, managing provider schedules, coordinating treatment plans, and assisting with financial arrangements. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail oriented, and able to balance administrative responsibilities with excellent patient relations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the clinician and patient.
- Greet patients warmly and ensure check in procedures are completed, including required documentation and signatures.
- Assist patients in understanding recommended treatment and help coordinate care plans.
- Manage provider schedules to ensure productive and efficient patient flow.
- Answer and return incoming calls in a professional, timely manner while managing multiple lines.
- Collect payments (cash, credit card, check, or payment plans) and review financial options with patients.
- Process electronic correspondence (emails, faxes, texts) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure necessary radiographs and documentation are available for appointments.
- Support the doctor and team in creating a positive, smooth, and professional patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous dental or healthcare office experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- Compassionate, friendly, and patient centered mindset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
