Job Description
Responsible to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees for Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. Enhances program by assessing, planning, and implementing improvements for safety and security programs. Cooperates with regulatory bodies and maintains effective working relationships with local, state, and federal emergency agencies. Serves as a member of committees, including but not limited to Infection Control, Radiation, Emergency Management, Safety and Workplace Violence.
High School or equivalent required. Preferred Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, safety or related area.
2 years’ experience with law enforcement, security or safety required. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, risk assessments, S.O.C , Life Safety blue prints and regulatory standards; effectively present information to staff, management, public groups and/or Governing Body. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
