Safety Manager
RSCI is seeking an on-site Safety Officer for a project located in West Yellowstone, MT. This position will ensure that the Company complies with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. Under the direction of the Corporate Safety Director, this position is responsible for conducting audits of the safety policies in the field and will work closely with the site management team to help foster a culture of safety on the jobsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Corporate Safety Director with oversight and implementation of the company safety program in the field
- Conduct site safety audits and take corrective action when deficiencies are found
- Conduct weekly Safety Meetings and daily safety huddles
- Respond, oversee, and facilitate appropriate injury care management and incident investigation on the jobsite
- Provide safety training as needed at the jobsite level
- Participate in coordination meetings with the site management team, owners, and subcontractors
- Act as a technical safety advisor to site management and field employees
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager (a combination of field construction and safety management experience will be considered)
- Extensive working knowledge of Federal OSHA, State, and local regulatory compliance
- OSHA 30 Hour certificate
- First Aid/CPR certificate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (preferred)

- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Frequently exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
