The Safety Resource Developer is a full-time, non-exempt professional position effective February 1, 2025 through July 31, 2025. This is a grant funded position.
If you have a background in commercial construction with an OSHA 500, are well versed CFR1926 and relevant health and safety regulations, and like helping others develop good safety construction skills - you may be a good fit!
We have a Safety Resource Developer position available you! Based out of East Syracuse (with some remote options based on the travel schedule), we are looking for a good natured, motivated and organized individual to drive this project - from conducting safety inspections to training workers across New York.

The position is responsible for the following:
· Reports to the Director of Training
· Works proactively with contractors to provide safety assessments and training for field workers in the identification and avoidance of hazards, including delivery of the OSHA 10/30-hour construction safety outreach program.
· Engage contractors and workers to provide formal feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of the HAB OSH-TE program.
The minimum qualifications for the Safety Resource Developer are:
· 5+ years of experience in safety management in construction
· Current OSHA certification to teach OSHA outreach courses under CFR 1926.
· Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other safety software programs
Base Salary: Prorated based on105k per year (DOE); Exempt, Full Time
This position is subject to a 30-day probationary period.
