Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient service and possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques. This role requires expertise in patient assessment and the ability to tailor treatments to meet individual needs, ensuring a holistic approach to pain management and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each client's requirements.
Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
Implement pain management strategies through targeted massage techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns effectively.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in occupational health and med spa services.
Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in compliance with facility protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient service and assessment.
Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles is essential.
Energy work is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
