Conducts safety meetings, safety training, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at Distribution Center locations.
Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
Provides technical support to project managers.
Risk assessment/management
Administrative policies and procedures
Multi-tasking ability
Communication, meeting, and presentation skills that reaches many different audiences.
Comfort with time reporting systems – ADP experience preferred

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related engineering discipline preferred but will consider experience in lieu of education
2-3 years experience in safety required in manufacturing
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.

Salary: From $70,000.00 -$90,000 per year DOE
