Job Summary
The Ortho Suite, located in Bethesda Maryland, is searching for an orthodontic assistant to join and grow with our team! We are proud to be a privately owned, single Orthodontist practice.

Duties

Gain and maintain trust of patient families by providing excellent clinical and customer service
Assist the Orthodontist with insertion and removal of orthodontic appliances
Assist the Orthodontist with taking full patient records
Complete accurate and efficient digital intraoral scans
Prepare appropriate set-up for each appointment
Chairside clean-up and sterilization of instruments
Provide patient education related to orthodontic care and oral hygiene
Review and modify clinical chart notes as needed
Communicate effectively with families regarding treatment progress
Stock inventory and maintain organization of both clinical and administrative areas
Assist with patient check-in, scheduling, and answering phones on an as-needed basis
Assist the Patient Coordinator with tasks as needed to maintain efficient practice flow

Requirements

Certified Orthodontic Assistant in Maryland
Active X-Ray License
Active CPR Certification

Favorable Qualifications

1 year of previous Orthodontic Assisting experience
Front desk experience in an orthodontic office, such as: check-in and check-out, scheduling routine appointments, answering phones, etc

The ideal candidate will have the ability to be versatile and provide both excellent clinical support and superior customer service! Pay commensurate with experience and verification of credentials.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week
