Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) to serve as the primary expert on safety and health matters. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, and DoD policies. This role involves conducting risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance and foster a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead safety expert, ensuring alignment with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Create safety plans, including Safety and Health Plans and Accident Prevention Plans.
Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, and develop countermeasures.
Lead site visits to perform policy reviews, direct observations, and interviews.
Prepare detailed reports, including evaluations of safety program effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to implement best practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required.
5+ years of experience in safety program management.
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and DoD safety policies.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to travel domestically for monthly site visits.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
