New Direction is a Mental Wellness practice that supports clients in improving their overall health and well-being. We help individuals understand how mental health can influence physical, emotional, and financial wellness, while providing guidance to achieve a balanced, healthier lifestyle.

Position Summary:
The Wellness Health Coach will work with clients to help them understand how their mental health and physical health works together. This role provides coaching, education, and support to help clients make lifestyle changes, set achievable goals, and improve quality of life across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions focused on wellness and lifestyle improvements.
Educate clients on how mental, physical, emotional, and financial factors interact to affect overall health.
Collaborate with other providers or team members to support personalized wellness plans.
Assist clients in setting realistic goals and creating actionable strategies to achieve them.
Provide motivation, accountability, and ongoing support for behavior change.
Track client progress and report updates to the team as appropriate.
Identify barriers to wellness and help clients develop strategies to overcome them.
Participate in group wellness or educational sessions as needed.
Do Weekly Social Media Segments
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Certification in Health Coaching, Wellness Coaching, or related field is required
Experience coaching or supporting clients in achieving wellness goals.
Strong understanding of holistic wellness, including the impact of mental health on daily life.
Excellent communication, active listening, and motivational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a contracted schedule.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to client support.
