Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Manager for an on-site role for field operations in Texarkana, TX. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and foster a culture of safety excellence. Your leadership will help protect our team members, reduce risks, and promote a safe working environment.

Duties

Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other applicable regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
Coordinate safety training sessions, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, OSHA compliance training, and specialized EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) programs for employees.
Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records related to Workers' Compensation Law.
Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
Stay current on industry best practices, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and evolving occupational health standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, Workers’ Compensation Law, and occupational health principles.
Certified in First Aid and CPR with experience in emergency response procedures.
Proven ability in report writing, documentation, and conducting root cause analysis.
Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety training & development.
Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and report findings clearly.
