Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office operations, familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain patient medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records by reviewing documentation for compliance.
Input and update patient information into EHR systems efficiently and accurately.
Retrieve and prepare medical records for healthcare providers as needed.
Assist in the implementation of policies related to record management and confidentiality.
Respond to requests for medical records from authorized personnel while adhering to privacy regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient information.

Requirements

Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is essential.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and practices related to health information management.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
