Job Summary
We’re looking for a team-oriented individual to join our trimming staff who enjoys working with cannabis at commercial scale. We need a reliable, driven person who has a proven track record of taking the initiative with respect to both efficiency and quality of work. This position includes working in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent attention to detail; we need someone who thrives in this setting. We prefer someone who understands the importance of uniformity of production standards, following established protocols and contributing to the continual improvement of all of the above.

No previous experience required, but a working knowledge, background or scholastic interest in any of the following are a plus:

Food and Beverage Service
Hospitality
Team sports
Manufacturing

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in a trimming role, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform duties listed above
Effective time management skills and ability to multitask
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing and challenging environment
Basic understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state
21+ years of age
Current Arizona Facility Agent Card (or willingness to acquire one quickly at your own expense)
2+ references not related to you
Ability to: Lift up to 50lbs and sit, stand or kneel for extended periods of time

Responsibilities
- Primary duties and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

Preparation and execution of House Exotics’ cannabis product line through weighing, mixing, and processing of product in accordance with state and in-house standards
Trimming, bucking, harvesting and the documentation of product performed with accuracy and proficiency
Ensuring consistency and efficacy of the trimming process through quality control and procedures set in-house
Ensuring appropriate information on all product and packaging is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with state and in-house standards
Optimizing workflow and efficiency
Maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sterility of workspace, equipment and tools at all times
Ensuring personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set in-house before performing any production duties including wearing required PPE
Must be able to maintain an 800g per day average trim output per day.

Skills
- Experience with farm or greenhouse work is a plus
- Ability to collect and record data accurately
- Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations
- Capability for heavy lifting tasks
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
No nights
