Duties

Weekly Claim submission & Follow Up (Professional/HCFA – Part B)
Work directly with insurance companies and patients to get all claims processed and paid
Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims
Investigate rejected claims
Status claims
Working Accounts Receivables daily
Answer patients’ and clients’ billing questions
Process patient phone payments
Weekly Statistical Reports
Insurance/Patient payment posting — Manual & Electronic
Insurance knowledge: BCBS, Medicare Part B, Commercial Insurance, HMO’s, Workers Compensation, Auto Policy Claims, Litigation Cases
Excellent communication skills
Highly Efficient & Organized
High Level of Accuracy & Detail Orientated
EMR Billing Knowledge & Experience
Clearinghouse Knowledge & Experience
Must be available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
