Summary:

The Safety Coordinator plays a vital role in driving our company’s success today and into the future by setting the standard for a safe and compliant workplace. Expectations:

Assist in implementing and maintaining company safety policies and programs.
Support field teams by proactively observing work practices and coaching on corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with OSHA 1926 Construction Standards, as well as state and local safety regulations.
Maintain and organize safety documentation, including inspection reports, incident logs, and training records.
Assist in incident and near-miss investigations, reporting findings and helping to implement and track corrective measures.
Track and manage PPE distribution, safety equipment inspections, and inventory.
Coordinate and assist with employee safety training and new hire orientations.
Support communication between field staff, project management, and the Safety Director on safety-related matters.

Preferred Experience & Education:

3 years’ experience with construction safety
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated success using Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
