Job Summary
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts regular facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, documenting findings and uploading reports into the EHS system
- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
- Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Plans, prepares, and delivers monthly training sessions on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
- Maintains and ensures accessibility of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).".
- Participates in incident and accident investigations, conducts 5-Why analyses, and reports DART injuries in the EHS system in coordination with Corporate EHS and insurance providers
- Establishes and maintains a relationship with local urgent care facilities to coordinate return-to-work and light-duty restrictions
- Collaborates with HR to track and report monthly hours worked and assist with onboarding new employees on safety policies and procedures
- Works with Supervisors and Maintenance on machine guarding, new equipment implementations and weekly toolbox talks
- Member of employee safety committee
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Bilingual
Education And Experience
- 5 years of experience in safety management or a related field required
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
