Look no further, we have an immediate opening for a Full Time Safety Assignment Technician. Utilize your current skill set to respond to injuries directly at the injured worker's job-site, assist site safety supervisors with job site requirements, and be part of a growing team of On-Site's safety assignment professionals nationwide.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Full-Time
  • 40 hours/week with over-time as needed (Mon-Fri from 5PM-5AM)
  • $21-$26/hr based on experience

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • First-Aid Injury Response At Your Assigned Jobsite
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing (both new-hire & post-injury/accident)
  • Pulmonary Function Testing
  • Safety Training


Qualifications:

  • Must have an active CA-EMT license
  • Current National Registry EMT
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Ability to travel preferred, not required
  • Clean DMV record - no DUIs in the last 5 years
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking, or sitting for an extended period of time
  • Must be comfortable with bending, reaching, lifting and driving

Due to the nature of On-Site Health & Safety services, employees may have access to federally funded or owned jobsites/projects. As a result, all new hires and existing employees are subject to drug testing in a manner consistent with a federally compliant test. The test may include all substances that can be found in Department of Transportation-regulated tests. The timing of testing includes pre-employment, reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause, and return-to-duty.

Some employees may be classified as having safety-sensitive positions. These positions are identified as the following: Field Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, Field Training Specialists and any variation of those job positions. These positions are also subject to post-accident and random testing.

Due to the possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or bodily fluids, it is recommended to be immunized against hepatitis B.
