We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Cannabis Trimmer to join our team. As a Cannabis Trimmer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our cannabis products meet high standards of quality and presentation. Your primary responsibility will be to trim and prepare cannabis plants for sale or further processing, ensuring that each product is handled with care and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trimming and Pruning: Carefully trim excess leaves and stems from harvested cannabis plants to enhance their appearance and potency. Ensure that all trimmings meet the company’s quality standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect trimmed cannabis to ensure it meets our quality and consistency standards. Remove any defective or substandard product.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality. Manage time effectively to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Safety and Hygiene: Follow all safety protocols and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Adhere to all company policies and regulations related to cannabis handling.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trimming activities, including batch numbers and quantities. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any operational issues that arise.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain trimming tools and equipment regularly. Report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in the cannabis industry is required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality. Ability to distinguish between high-quality and low-quality cannabis.
- Manual Dexterity: Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform precise trimming tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compliance: Familiarity with local and state regulations related to cannabis handling is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
