Position Title: Chief Dental Officer

Location: Schenectady, NY
Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000 a year.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Dental Officer (CDO) will be responsible for overseeing the dental operations of our health center, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental care. You will lead a talented dental team, collaborate with other departments, and drive initiatives to improve patient outcomes and access to care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage Hometown Health Centers dental , ensuring compliance with FQHC and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement dental care protocols, policies, and best practices to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of dental staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and patient satisfaction, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other health center leadership and providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- Promote community outreach and education to increase access to dental care for
QUALIFICATIONS:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Licensed to practice dentistry in New York State
- Minimum of 5 years of dental practice experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Experience working within an FQHC or commitment to serving underserved populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental regulations, quality assurance practices, and patient care standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
